St. Marys Kiwanis is a service club that helps children, families, and educational programs in our community.
Members give their time to make our community a better place for future generations.
Walk with Nature
and Fall Festival
We host the annual Walk with Nature and Fall Festival among other projects helping all walks of life from youth to senior citizens.
Pancake Days
Our spring a fall Pancake Days are the club’s largest fundraising events and proceeds support area youth programs. Thousands of plates of pancakes and sausage are served each year.
How We Serve Our Community
St. Mary Kiwanis Club Scholarship
Description: The Kiwanis Club will offer a scholarship to Memorial High School graduating seniors who plan to attend either the Wright State Lake Campus in Celina or The Ohio State University branch campus in Lima. The basis of the award will be on emphasis of school attendance and service for school, family and community.
**This Scholarship is renewable for a second year.Requirements: For MHS graduating senior students attending Wright State Lake Campus or Ohio State Lima.
The club gives book scholarships to all graduating M.H.S seniors who begin their college education at Wright State University Lake Campus and OSU in Lima.
Kiwanis has provided two children’s parks in St. Mary’s, one on Beech Street and Kiwanis Kuck’s Cove at the north end of Front Street.
During 2003 Kiwanis established “Perfect Attendance” recognition.
Kiwanis supplies the city Swim Team with ribbons.
St. Marys Kiwanis also supports and sponsors other activities on a one time or temporary basis at the request or as a need of the community.
